Starting June 2026, PERKESO is rolling out the NEW LINDUNG 24 Jam Scheme (Skim Kemalangan Bukan Bencana Kerja). This amazing initiative ensures that employees are protected 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, even for non-work-related accidents! 🛡️✨

Here is what you need to know about the new policy updates:

📌 Key Highlights of the Scheme:
It is Mandatory: The scheme is compulsory for all eligible SOCSO contributors.
Borne by Employees: The new additional contribution premium for this 24-hour protection is fully borne by the employees.
Employer's Responsibility: Employers are responsible for deducting these contributions through payroll and making the payments to PERKESO on behalf of their employees during their employment.

📊 New Contribution Rates (Implemented in Phases):
🔸 Present (before June 2026) : ~0.5%
🔸 Phase 1 (First 2 Years): Employee ~0.5% --> + 0.75%
🔸 Phase 2 (Next 3 Years): Employee ~0.5% --> + 1.00%
🔸 Phase 3 (6th Year Onwards): Employee ~0.5% --> + 1.25%

Who Is Eligible for Skim LINDUNG 24 JAM?

The scheme applies to a broad group of workers in Malaysia.

Eligible Individuals

  • Malaysian citizens

  • Permanent Residents (PR)

  • Expatriates

Age Limit - Eligible employees must be:

  • Up to 60 years old
